  1. Remove the screw that holds the CD-ROM
  2. Remove the CD-ROM from its slot


  1. Get your new CD-ROM
  2. Push it back facing the same way you pushed it out
  3. Screw back the screw
  4. If memory was not touched for this, simply screw back the cover for the memory area
